Perhaps you saw Newsday’s article about Chris’ trial earlier this week. Perhaps you also noticed that the writer, Mr. Kessler fails to offer any honest reporting and hasn’t done so since he started reporting on Chris’ case. Mr. Kessler, does the government pay your taxes? Why else are you unable to report honestly and in their favor?
Of course his latest rant glosses over all the impressive and amazing “gets” by the defense. Big moments for the defense are never mentioned. Further, in this week’s article, he fails to mention or explain that the reason Judge Seybert declared a mistrial was because the government FAILED to prove their case. This is the governments second chance at proving to the jury that Chris committed this crime.
If you want to send Mr. Kessler a note – feel free. Maybe he needs a little refresher on journalism, he’s sounding a little rusty. Robert.Kessler@newsday.com
